There are three chicks in the hole and nest. The two with the heads out and crowding the third are the most dominant. My guess is that the third did not survive. Image captured in 2016, worked up from start today and posted on my website. Image captured at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. The dead palm tree trunk chosen for a nest site blew down during Hurricane Irma. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Great head angles on the two chicks and a nice capture overall. This species has pretty much eluded me :)
