One from a trip yesterday to the Bass Rock. It was a grey day, windy, and light was changing all the time. So, not the best conditions to capture Gannets from a boat on choppy seas. Anyway, I managed this one with the Bass Rock in the BG. No Bait used. Handheld. ACR and PS2019.

Terrific shot, Will. Great wing position, love the drops. Nice and sharp. Good work under tough conditions.

Hi Will, very nice capture, sharp, and i like your positioning of the gannet. I especially like the drops of water coming off the bird. Well done!

Excellent flight capture, William. Nice wing position, and I like the drops of water trailing off also.

Crisp, sharp detail and with the spray flying off the back and the powerful cup of the wings I can feel the lift of the wind under this fellow William---creating that kind of impression with your image is ,for me, one of the features of outstanding photography.

A pretty dramatic photo... Excellent BG that helps tell the story.

I like images which give a good sense of place, and although I have never been to Bass Rock to confirm, this speaks to that, or at least the environment in which these birds work. Excellent capture with the water drops.

Pretty nice. Like that trailing water. The light bird stands out nicely against that darker background. The wing position is nice as well.
