    I made this image in Bear River Migratory Refuge Couple of weeks back.

    Camera Settings:-
    ===============
    Nikon D500 600 f/4 + 1.4 x TCIII
    1/2000 sec; f/5.6; ISO 1250
    Manual; Matrix metering




    Post Processing:-
    ===============
    Raw Processing using C1P
    2x3 Cropping from Bottom (To place bird on top right corner)
    Tonal Adjustments in Viveza
    Nik 25-25 at reduce opacity on the bird
    Neat Image NR
    Sharpening for Presentation
    Dodge selectively (Lightening the bird face a touch)
    No Cloning
    Adding color at bottom left most corner to remove the whitish look.

    Everything looks good here, except that I would have preferred the sparrow placed lower in the frame rather than higher. Colours, sharpness, BG, perch all top-notch.

    Any specific reason for your preference to have sparrow lower in the frame ?

    Looking good....Nice detail and HA. I like the colours in the BG. I don't mind the position of the bird, it gives the bird a wee bit more to 'look into'.. But I would take a little from the bottom, to balance the frame.

    I just usually prefer more room above rather than below. Personal preference really.
