    This White-faced Heron gave me its version of 'high 5"
    7Dii, 100-400mm@400mm, 1/400th sec, f5.6, iso1000, manual mode hand-held. Comments always appreciated and learned from.

    Or a mid-late 80's Hulk Hogan during his prime "listening" to the approving crowd. The pose and the comp are fine, but I feel that the fine detail is lacking, and there is extra noise to take of (both easy "fixes" if the raw file is good). From the bill we can see that it had been preening!

    Nice colours throughout, love the pose..But yes, the birds looks a wee bit soft. Great BG. Worth a revisit Paul

    Thank you Daniel &William for the feedback. I'll check out the raw file again. The location is great for Herons, Egrets and Cormorants...so I'll be back many times! Cheers.
