Lovely Dan, great colors nice and sharp. Only wish that rear wing wasn't intersecting.

Beautiful Image. Too bad with the wing intersecting the face.
I love the other wing which to the left of the face.

We don't see images of these guys in flight too often, thanks for the treat! I agree about the far wing, but not an image killer by any means. Maybe just a touch of extra sharpening on the face for web presentation?

Looking good....Agree about the sharpening of the head, but, all else looks fine to me. The dark BG really shows the bird well.

A striking BG for this flight image Dan, well captured. You got considerable DOF for that f stop but maybe the face was on the edge of that?

Really nice shot of one of these, even though they’re less vibrant than other ducks there’s something about these guys that I really like. Love that smooth background, the only thing I’d suggest is just the sharpening on the head as others have already mentioned. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful on all counts. The near-upper wing detail is awesome. I wish only that the bill did not merge with the far wing. Bad luck on that.
