This a full frame shot of a black-winged Stilt chick following it's mother. I have an alternate composition which crops away part of the top and is much better detail of the chick but I finally decided that it lost too much by removing the parent. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I like the concepts portrayed here. Only wish the chick bill weren't touching the vegetation.

This image tells the story. I would like to see them facing you. I also have to agree with Fab.

As already mentioned this tells a warm and fuzzy story but I agree it would be nice to have them looking this way. Still wonderful to see this great captured moment with parent and baby. thanks for sharing.

I like the idea and composition. Agree that the birds facing you would have made it even better.

Hi Harold., I think this is a fine image., yes, it could be better as with any image., but I like the dynamics, and the concept. very creative, and very well done., and I wouldn't dare suggest where you file it.
