About two weeks ago at Lake Myvatn, Iceland Joanne spotted a beautiful Common Snipe not far off the trail. C&C welcome.

    Hi Geoffrey,
Ahhh the elusive snipe and you found him! Your image looks crisp and sharp w wonderful colors and no noise at iso3200, great job. I like the raised foot, the slight head turn, and its habitat. well done.

Nice view of the snipe. Like the walking pose and those grasses frame the bird nicely.

Great job getting close with a low angle. Love the pose and the environment in this canvas. TFS

These snipe just scream Iceland to me. Everywhere one goes, you can hear the drumming as they display in the air.
A bit busy for me but the walking pose and raised foot are really nice.

Ditto all the positives above. For me, the bird is too centered. Do you have any room in front? You can paint in a Gaussian Blur on the upper right corner to smooth it out.
