    Default Snow Buntings

These guys were so tame that as I sat among the rocks the Snow Buntings would practically walk on my boots. Two frames prior to this, the adult's head was halfway down the chick's gullet, but I liked the HA's better on this one. From Flatey Island, Iceland 10 days ago.

    Very nice Bill.
I really like all the blacks and greys in the image.
Nice interaction portrayed with 2 good HA's.
We will be on Flatey in 11 days! Hope we get some nice weather and good opportunities like this,
    Gail

Ohhh very nice indeed Bill! I like the monochrome colors and then the pop of the open mouthed chick, really accentuates the action. Nice and sharp, a real winner. Hope to see them soon!

Wow Bill, this is great! Looks like we still see a glimpse of the food item inside the young one's mouth, pretty cool. I love the touch of colour among all those blacks and greys.

Wonderfull moment captured beautifully, Bill. The parent seem to stick around for a spell right after feeding the chicks to make sure the food went down. Like all the greys as well.
