White-breasted woodswallow. Quite a common bird in my area, but hard to approach. Not a perfect capture, but a keeper until I get a better one. Background is sugar cane, the flowers on top.

Good looking bird with a nice flight angle and good bg. Maybe lacking in fine detail, but I'm sure you'll get other chances.

Great pose with nice wing position. Details are not great but
definitely a keeper until you get a better one.
That is what keeps us bird photographers going-always trying to get a better shot!
    Really nice BG!

Always a challenge to lock focus on a swallow, especially against a busy BG... Good keeper till the next one! TFS

I can see why you like it, and I also can see why you are hoping to get a better one. Nice colours throughout.

While it may be slightly soft, the painterly feel of the entire canvas works for me... TFS

More than reasonable quality. I love trying to get these kind of photos, always worth trying.
    Pose is great.

Thanks all for the comments. I will note Dan K that I started playing around with these small guys more after seeing some of your posts, so thanks for the inspiration.

Killer flight pose but, as noted above, there is a surprising lack of detail on the back feathers.
