    Very nice indeed, I like the foot position and the head angle. I think there may be a bit of a blue cast in the plumage, but that could be regarded as indicative of the circumstances.

    The sleek pose is very nice. Like that foot skimming the water along. Nice to see the bird's head in the brighter light.

    The foot dragging out of the water is the highlight of this frame - pretty neat. I think the blacks could go deeper, and I also feel that a bit of CW rotation would be beneficial here. I am glad you got tons of good opportunities with this species recently!
