About a week ago on Flatey Island, Iceland with breaks between overcast, high winds, sleet, rain and snow, we were treated to moments like this if you were willing to sit still for over an hour. If you would so much as blink the parent would let out a quick call. Depending on the motion you would make the parent(s) would make a different call with varying lengths and volume of calls. C&C welcome.
D500, Sigma 150-600mm C @ 480mm, 1/1600s, f 6.3, ISO 2000. I was on a tripod, but due to the taller blades of grass plus depending on wind level, I would hand hold.
