I had bout half dozen RWBB's visit my feeders last month and I really liked the plumage coloring on this fellow. So I would wait for his return and I was happy to have him out in the open, perched upon some entangled bittersweet vines. Not much light so I raised exposure on this one in PP.

A beauty Ann....Considering the light conditions you managed this very well. Lovely detail in the blacks, super pose, perch and BG. I also like your chosen crop.

Ann: Agree with Will's assessment. Light subdued, but effective here.

Great soft light for getting all that black and you took full advantage. Love the pose and composition and immature plumage. TFS

Really liking that perch. The pose is nice as the background. You have captured wonderful detail on the bird. Nice to see a young one.

Nice one Ann. Super cool perch, great BG, and I like the comp. The spread foot pose is pretty neat too.

Excellent exposure and BG. I like eye centered comps, this is nice.
