    I made this image in Fort Desoto State Park, FL.



    Nikon D850 600 f/4 + 1.4 x TCIII
    1/8000 sec; f/5.6; ISO 800
    Manual; Matrix metering




    Post Processing:-
    ===================
    Raw Processing using C1P
    No Cropping
    Tonal Adjustments in Viveza
    Neat Image NR
    Sharpening for Presentation
    Dodge selectively
    No Cloning.

    Great details on the bird and the whites. Wish for a little more head angle or eye contact. Unfortunate the dark band of the water through the middle of the bird.TFS

    The take off is great. Like the water drops and how the bird is just above the water. Light is what it is. Don't mind the background.

    Nice capture of the moment after takeoff. I like the band of water in the bg; think it adds interest. HA also ok with me.

    I like dark band of water, it does not bother me as it is soft with no hard edges.
