    Thanks to Robert who chased him my way. This was from last pass of this early morning... I had plenty of shutter speed and previous frame caught vigorous shake but without eyes. This was next frame after (5fps all I have on R).

    As always, thanks for previous comments suggestions and discussions. Looking forward to more valued inputs/learnings.

    Beautifully captured portrait of this egret, David. Especially nice handling of the whites, and I like all the detail. Well done. I would clone out the second catchlight in the pupil.

    An awesome look at those very appealing feathers! Great textures, layers, and sharpeness. It looks as though the head is angled slightly away from us, which is unfortunate...but again...those feathers!
