A Pepper Moray Eel looking out of his cave. They're not dangerous but will give you a little nip - got an unexpected one on the toe a few years ago!. This one popped his head out then did something I've not seen before with the frills on the neck - I'm guessing this is some kind of warning threat, so a shot with the mouth open and off to find another subject

Wow Mike, wonderful behavioural image, beautifully framed and I love those vibrant colours, good choice of DoF too

Great detail where it matters, especially eyes and those tiny sharp teeth. Despite its reputation the subject looks super cute to me Great timing and nice PP work, thank you so much for sharing!

    Kind regards,

Super shot, well framed by the cave. DoF is great, looks like you were close.

Wow that's a really interesting shot, I like the natural frame and the exposure looks spot on. The frills on the neck make the image particularly interesting.

Hi Mike yet another very good UW shot .
I do love the red coral framing and the frilled neck of the Moray Eel .
Works very well all around ... nicely processed .

Very cool. Like how the eel is framed. The color of the coral on the left is killer. Details look great and exposure is spot on.

Very very cool shot. Love the coral framing as mentioned, and the pose / detail on the eel is great. A nice look at a world rarely seen as well. TFS
