Default Tidal pool loner in late evening light...

On the second evening at Bunche beach I was approaching a reddish egret working a tidal pool with a tri-colored. Big red was having none of me getting even remotely close. This beauty however let me walk up right to the edge of the pool and set my butt in the sand. On this evening the setting sun had no intervening clouds and this beauty gave me many looks. I like the peacefulness of this one.

Thanks as always for comments, suggestions and discussions on previous posts. Looking forward to more of the same.

Nice angle.. I would clean up the water if this were mine and also add some saturation to the bird.

Nice light and nice view of this tricolored. The composition is nice overall. Detail on the bird looks pretty good.
