    I made this image in Red Butte Garden last weekend.

    Nikon D500, Sigma 150 f/2.8 Macro Lens
    1/250 sec; f/16; ISO 640
    Manual; Matrix metering

    I made one mistake while taking this image. Diffuser was used to soften the light. I used a reflector ( Golden ) to reflect light which was a mistake in my opinion, I should have used silver reflector. I had lots of Yellow cast which I had to correct in post processing.

    Let me know what you think about this image.

    Post Processing:-
    ===================
    Raw Processing using C1P
    No Cropping
    Nik 30-30 Filter at reduced opacity
    Neat Image NR
    Sharpening for Presentation
    Burn and Dodge selectively

    I was tempted to pluck out the petal on the left side, but decided not to do it. I did not change anything in post processing as well.

    Thanks
    Krishna

    The vertical composition is nice. The details are spot on and the flower is tack sharp. My first thought was i would have removed the petal on the left side.

  3. Thanks Krishna Prasad kotti thanked for this post
