    On the first evening, just before sunset, the setting sun was totally blocked by a thunderhead in the west. With no direct light, the sunset colors leaked into the entire sky and reflected in the water below. Made for a nice soft image of this long striding beauty.

    The pale-on-pale soft look is fine withe me, but I would have loved a lower angle (if possible, which it is often not), more saturation, and maybe 1/2 degree CCW rotation. Nice walking stride you caught this egret in.

    Really like the overall color of this one with the light water and the white bird. They compliment one another nicely. Very nice. The crop and composition seem fine to my eyes.
