Same bird as earlier, the fact the lower half was behind bushes near the water's edge had me with no idea it was a white morph as the legs are usually what gives it away from afar (GBH's are yellow, great egret's are black). In fact I was on the way out at anhinga trail and not too interested as the foilage was problematic. What caught my eye was the water with dark greens to this blue as BG. When I got home I was so glad I spent some time with this rare beauty.

Wish I could have gotten down to the water's very edge. As it was near the end of gator mating season and a few males were still roaring and in site, decided discretion was the better part of valor. In other words, I was skeered.....
