Default Red-bellied Woodpecker in Central Park NYC!

Still no birds around here, so continuing my re-edits of older stuff. Working my way through my favorite 2015 frames - man, I couldn't process worth sh*t back then!

Here's another snowy shot, actually taken on same day as my previous YB Sapsucker frame. It was a great afternoon out.

This is a set-up with birdseed hidden in big crack on the backside of the log. Pure white background done deliberately - imagine it will be loved or hated!

Easy...love it! The BG sets the bird off nicely. Lovely colours on that bird, sharp, great HA and FFD.

Eye catching image. Like the high key.

    Reds really catch my eye

Very nice indeed, I like the colours, just personal taste but a tiny bit bright for me.

Hi Dorian, perfect perch, beautiful bird. I like the image design and the white background. I agree with Jonathan that on my display the image appears a tad bright. Thank you for sharing.

All has been said, but the brightness just right for my taste (just re-calibrated and it always makes me dim brightness some). TFS

Superb. The tonality looks prefect from here. Are the underparts generally so yellowish?

Love the high key treatment. Nice to see the bird on a horizontal perch. I would clean up the bill if your into that kinda thing. Details on the bird look great.
