    Love these grebes. The calls,especially the wailing they make have a ethereal feeling that gets to your soul in the early morning in a swamp or slough. That ghostly sound.The picture sure doesn't represent
    their true habitat. Deep in the cattails is what they prefer. Not open water. Processed with Dpp.4 and Photoshop. Thanks for comments and critiques.

    Very nice view of this grebe. Like the low angle and the composition. Too bad the bird wasn't perfectly parallel to you. Still nice though.

    Subject isolation and details are really nice. You might want to turn down the whites on the beak a touch as they look as bit hot right now. I would move the bird up in the frame. The shot feels very bottom heavy as it and it would be nice to see more of the reflection and get it off the edge of the frame.
