I'm assuming this is a Herring Gull (juvenile) as there were quite a few adults about, but please feel free to correct this ID.
Taken whilst walking around Stanley Park, Vancouver, BC. I liked the head turn, as the subject was watching adults above, however, I would have liked more below, but it was just ugly so cropped tight.
