I believe this is a Scintillant Hummingbird female but I am not 100% sure. There are more than 50 species of hummingbird in Costa Rica and sometimes there are very subtle differences in their identification.

Fine wing position and I really like this colour BG for backdropping this little fellow. The bee is a nice touch but the leaf and flower colours feel too saturated

Nice view of this hummer. Like the bee on the flower. Solid green background is great.

The best part of this image is discovering the 2 other bugs on the flowers. I love it when my eye travels through the picture and I find little hidden treasures!
The hummer looks great as does the BG.
The choice of crop is very nice (a bit more on top would not hurt) and I like the straight lines created by the hanging buds.
If the main bee had been sharply in focus this image would have been killer! Still a preety special frame.
Agree that the reds could be toned down.

Really good result for HH and no flash! Flowers re lovely and the wing position is really nice. You could loosen the crop a touch but is far from a deal breaker. Noise, sharpness, exposure all look good.

Here is a repost using suggestions from those who made comments. Red saturation cut 30% and a little bit added to the top. Thanks everyone!
