Lovely finch. I can see that it is being vocal (i love the ruffled throat feathers). Awesome foot grip on the leaves too. Good green BG. I could do without the oof leaves at in front of the finch (I'm OK with the others above the back). I you have more room all around I'd go for it. The main reason is to add some space between the tree trunk and the edge of the frame while retaining the current ratio.

Perfect exposure with respect to color and detail. I think a little more depth of field would be helpful to get the per imperfect focus. It is a little tight.

Well focused and exposed with an appealing perch . I would just suggest making the bird smaller in the frame.

Exposure looks spot on. Yes to more room all around. But it is a nice looking finch you have here.

Hi Dan, sweet finch - nice colour and detail. Contrast against that strong green really makes him stand out. Agree that it could take some more space. Thanks for sharing. Gerald

Love the bird and the IQ of bird but not loving those OOF branches above bird.
The RHS feels really tight with the stem so close to the edge. Do you have more room?

Perch and pose look good, but the stuff above/behind are a big problem for me. Shoulder looks to be sharpest point, so there is some detail falloff as you move up towards the face. But this still looks good given the 2x!
