Hello John,
Beautiful fawn and image quality is great. Lovely pose from the subject with nice HA, good detail in the eye. Techs spot on, well exposed. Sharpness is there in good measure.
I am unsure about the crop, tempted to take off from the RHS. Those bright spots ( plants? ) in the BG are a tad distracting. As well as the grass blade on the RHS-I would clone it out or crop tighter.
Overall the image looks better than the previous in terms of colour, maybe try take this back into LR and move the tint slider a bit to the right, you will notice the slight green tinge under the subject's chin disappears
Thank you so much for sharing, a pleasure to view
Kind regards,
Gabriela Plesea
Hi John, looks much better, just not a lover of the 'sooty black' in the BKG, however, if you up the Exposure by a third and reduce some of the Contrast & Black you really get to see what you have. Adding a smidgen more USM helps too. Just watch (if you can) for interesting elements like the grass hitting the chin in the viewfinder, maybe let the subject take a few more steps forward to hide them?
Hope the PM helps, let me know.
TFS
Steve
John as you can't attached images to PM's I will have to post you question here.
1. Detail 'Module'
2. Sharpeneing panel
3. NR panel
4. Luminance
5. Colour - which I called the 'Colour panel'
I hope this now clarify's things.
Thanks Steve.
