    I captured this image at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S ED image captured at 400mm
    1/1600 F/5.6 Matrix Metering EV 0 ISO 2000 WB set with eye dropper on neutral, camera supported by a monopod
    Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2019 and Neat Image for noise reduction
    Cropped slightly for composition and presentationi

    Details on the bird look great. Love those feathers. Looks like the bird has been preening some. Great background and pose.

    This one of my most favorite waders. They are so beautiful. Your image certainly captures that beauty (no surprise here). I like everything about this and have no nits. TFS

    They have the most beautiful neck feathers, and this shows those well. High ISO is really hurting though. Next time I'd give a stop of shutter to get a stop of noise.
