    this is another frame of the young (adolescent) female northern harrier, I like the pose so I elected to raise the exposure on the side of the face that was a bit shaded...wish the sun was exactly behind my neck but this one didn't come out too bad hope you like it

    shot with D5 and 600E FL + 1.4X III ISO 800 f/5.6 at 1/3200 sec hand held processed with C1P

    Hi Arash, I really love that underwing detail - beautiful! The direction of the light gives the bird depth and the shadow doesn't hide or spoil any of the detail so it works for me!

    Really nice BG and nice lifting of the shadow. The little bit of highlight in the eye makes it work well.

    Excellent color, detail, and background. Superb wing position and eye contact. Perhaps the most impressive technical aspect of this is that you are shooting with a 600 mm plus extender handheld. You must be a young guy...

    Looks great. Nice light and pose. Really like that green background. Head on view is nice.
