    Hi Guys,

Still working on my Kingfisher site as we speak and went over there this morning at 4.30 hours to see if the eggs had hatched and they where allready feeding the youngsters from the second nest. As i found out Mum and Dad where still taking turns sitting on the eggs but every now and then one of the 8 week old Kingfishers from the first nest still visits the nesting site to begg for food and are then fiercely chased off by Mum and Dad Kingfisher.
Here's a shot of one of the youngsters from the fisrt nest wich must be around 8 weeks old and is recogniseable by it's dark feet, shorter bill and darker (but cleaner) feathers.

    Greetings,

    Jeroen Stel

    Joroen,
This is a beautiful image indeed. I love the colors here and it's nice and sharp. That bg enhances this little guys beauty too.
    Great job.

Nice composition. Clean bg. I would love it more without the dark patch on the top right hand corner.

Great soft light, details and pose, the open bill adds to it. Another vote for removing the dark patch on the upper right.
