Like your title, Dan. Amazing how clearly the heron has its eye on the pesky fly. Great pose with the catch of the day in the beak. Beautiful quality of light. For me the background is a tad distracting.
Love the intimate angle, details, colors, prey item and especially the interaction. If not for the repeating pattern upper left the BG is OK for me. TFS
