    A serpent eagle looks out for a snack at Tipeshwar tiger reserve, Maharashtra, India. I quite liked the pattern of the feathers this huge bird of prey has.

    I agree Sanjeev, the feather patterns are awesome on this bird and you've shown them well. Those eyes are the killer cherry on top. You should enter for theme... TFS

    Nice portrait and nice details.
    I am on the fence about the orange splashes in the BG, I might eliminate them, or at least the one on the right side.

    Detail on the bird looks nice. Love those yellow eyes. The feather pattern is very neat. The background is what it is.

    A very serious looking individual! I love the mean stare. Nice details in the feathers. BG is OK, but not great. I'm torn on the comp though, perhaps a vertical would have worked well here.

    Superb detail, pose, and eye contact. Perhaps darkening the orange spots a bit just to reduce their distraction although they do blend really nice with the eyes
