Pretty image, Tim. The raised foot adds to the image and ther verbena adds a nice splash of color. Thank you for sharing.

Hello Tim, What a setting and a beautiful breeding plover. Looks like more sharpening overall would help and minor adjustments to whites and darks/black as there is not much detail showing throughout the torso. Very nice foot up and good job handling the rig through the fence, not easy.

The setting is very nice... I recently attempted the same kind of shot through a railing with the same
result... Not sure you can sharpen, the lens gets diffused or something in this situation.

Nice you caught the bird in those flowers. Nice breeding plummage on the bird as well. Low angle is spot on. Does look a little soft. Might be because of the fence.

Beautiful canvas. I see why you made the effort though the fence. Great strolling pose and I love the flowers. Good suggestions from others before. TFS

Beautiful Colors in the Foreground and Background. Raise Foot is nice.
I think we need more sharpening on the bird.

Thanks everyone for the comments, the sharpening is pretty much what it is do to shooting through a square in a chain link fence.
I wish it was better, I do see details in the torso maybe a difference in calibration? Note to self don’t post shots through the fence.

I think you did pretty well considering the situation. The positives for me are the pose, the point of view, the depth of field in the background. You might fool around with AI Focus or AI Clear from Topaz to see if it sharpens up the black plumage.
