    Default Hooded Warbler

Continuing with more birds from my spring trip to Ontario - this was one of my most sought after species. Although their numbers are increasing in Ontario, and they are relatively easy to find, they are really difficult to get a clean image of. So I was happy to get this one.

    Camera Model: Canon EOS 40D
    Shutter speed: 1/500 sec
    Aperture: 8
    Exposure mode: Av
    ISO: 400
    Focal length: 500mm + 1.4x

Great find, exposure control and details. I like the natural setting and clean BG. I might clone out the OOF branch crossing the wing/tail.

Very nice find, love the soft light shinning on his face. Good detail in the yellows :)

Very lovely composition and I particularly love the BG. Beautiful lighting and a striking pose Glenn Many thanks for sharing.
