    Default Tern Portrait

Stopped by Bolsa Chica in Huntington Beach, CA, a bit before sunset yesterday and I got lucky enough to meet Arash there, which was a pleasant surprise...
Unfortunately, I could not get any in-flight Tern shots worthy of being posted here. So I will just go ahead and post this portrait frame. Still not that great, but at least I liked the bird's pose and the catch eye...

The pose is nice. Like the water drops on the head. Light looks pretty nice.

Sharp right where it needs to be with great EXP in both white and blacks. Not so in love with perch. TFS

Nice Image. It looks a bit unnatural to me. I would take off the blue color cast to make it better.

Like the feet. I also would look for a different perch.

Hi Kambiz, it was good running into you on the famous Bolsa bridge, I like the close up details and the nice HA of the turn, the perch wasn't ideal but I couldn't resist taking a few shots myself, perhaps will post one later

    cheers
