    Lovely light, water, and deep wading pose. The bird doesn't seem quite sharp on my screen.

    Gorgeous light and an interesting pose with the stare into the water, but I agree with Bill that its a little lacking in the sharpness dept.

    I looked at this last night and also thought that it wasn't tack sharp but decided to wait until this am and have a look again.
    I agree with Mike and Bill.
    You had beautiful light and nice POV.
    I also think the bird needs a bit more contrast,

    Sharpen it a bit, add some contrast and this is a very nice photo...
    I like the blue sky (or water) at the top of the frame.

    Agree with the above David, , Id suggest lower exposure a bit as well.

    Sweet light. Nice low angle. Looks good for the ISO. Looks to me the birds head is angled slightly away. Thats why its not as sharp as body.
