I really like the idea of this frame, and I agree the painterly feel is really nice. However, the eyes aren't quite sharp enough for my tastes. It really tough for me to critique these shots since I've never tried anything similar. So, any effort you put forth is better than what I could produce!

I think you pretty much nailed it. I also like the painterly feel of this canvas. Only thing could make it a little better is if they were just a little further back in the frame. Just the perfect BG for these beauties. Not only is this a keeper for me, I'd have it on my wall... TFS

Nice degree of blurring with soft colors but the birds re too close and the wing position of the bird in the front is less than ideal.

Nice to attempt something like this and a nice effort.
Heads need to be just a tad sharper and less room in back and more room in front.

I much prefer the blurs with the big flocks. These ones don't do much for me. Nice to see something different.
