I made this image in Bosque Del Apache. I went for slow shutter speed to have eye sharp and wings blurs...
I like the painterly feel to the image.

    Nikon D500, 500 mm f/4
    1/60 sec; f/20; ISO 1250
    Shutter priority; Matrix metering

    Post processing:-
    Raw Processing using C1P
    Pano Crop
    Neat Image for NR
    Niko 25-25 Filters
    Sharpening for Presentation

Let me know your thoughts and comments.

    Thanks

I really like the idea of this frame, and I agree the painterly feel is really nice. However, the eyes aren't quite sharp enough for my tastes. It really tough for me to critique these shots since I've never tried anything similar. So, any effort you put forth is better than what I could produce!

I think you pretty much nailed it. I also like the painterly feel of this canvas. Only thing could make it a little better is if they were just a little further back in the frame. Just the perfect BG for these beauties. Not only is this a keeper for me, I'd have it on my wall... TFS

Nice degree of blurring with soft colors but the birds re too close and the wing position of the bird in the front is less than ideal.

Nice to attempt something like this and a nice effort.
Heads need to be just a tad sharper and less room in back and more room in front.

I much prefer the blurs with the big flocks. These ones don't do much for me. Nice to see something different.
