    This is a captive bird at Alligator Farm, St Augustine, FL. The cross-hatched catchlight is caused by the screen mesh I had to shoot through. About half of full frame.

    I really like this. The colors and details are super. The texture and patterns in the beak are interesting too.

    I keep looking at this and it almost looks like an optical illusion. I know the bird and what's the beak but if you didn't know the bird you could follow the eye in either direction and imagine the rest of the bird. Beautiful colors, nice detail.......and pretty cool.

    Very nice and unusual view of this bird. I like it alot. The colors and details really capture my attention. The black bg makes it pop. Very creative image. No nits here.
