There are problems with the original of this image caused by low early morning light in a Costa Rican cloud forest, including less than optimal sharpness, bg noise, and a need to apply Artie's eye doctor tricks to fix an eye made weird by the Beamer. There are also the usual JPEG artifacts I get when I convert for posting here. Nevertheless, this bird was so magnificent I thought I'd share it with you.

What a beautiful bird and great pose captured. I agree with your self-critique, NR on the BG would be an easy fix. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful bird! About the Better Beamer, it works after 300 mm, so it probably did more harm than good. Hand holding at 1/60 was pretty darn good :)

Awesome pose and capture of this beautiful bird. Your own critique covered it all. Thanks for sharing the gorgeous image.
