Another shot of this beautiful young Tigress asserting herself and lying down in the middle of the road backing up all the jeeps, fortunately we were the lead vehicle and had prime spot - which was nice.
Sanjeev/Haseeb I think you can appreciate the situation.

Lovely relaxed pose from this pretty young lady. After viewing Haseeb's and Sanjeev's tiger images as well as reading their stories I am also able to appreciate the "situation": never easy to find and photograph tigers in India but truly so special when it does happen
Nice POV...I finally understand why you use the extender in certain situations Frame well exposed, composition is great, lovely vibrant colours and good detail in that soft fur ( I dare say those tigers look more cuddly than my lions, a bit like teddy bears). Sharpness is spot-on (the first thing I did was to look at those fine white hairs inside the ears).
Busy revisiting a few images and hope to achieve a similar "clean" look with less contrast and more detail. This looks effortless, I like it very much. Thank you for sharing, Steve.
A very pleasing image Steve, the FL has allowed good tight framing and avoiding much of the 'road'. Great relaxed pose with huge paws. Nice details and DOF is spot on.
Hi Steve -- Very late on this but love seeing your Tiger images. So much fine details and excellent colours and POV. Why f 9 ? was it very close ? The BKG is smooth and has nice separation from the subject . First vehicle and Tiger on road is always a great shooting opportunity.
Hi Steve what a cool road block ....LOL .
You seemed to have some good luck with your tiger sightings !!!
Lovely portrait and the subject does look quite relaxed . Details are fine and looking AWESOME , top notch !!!!
Well controlled dappled light ... but personally i might have boosted the contrast a tiny bit ( you know not the slider ) , i think the subject is slightly flat for my taste ! But you see things different ...so your call , and i know you post the image how it should be from your side .
Well captured Steve .... ah , if you have more room on LHS , i would give it more room to the paw !!!
The crop is tight but looks nicely balanced to me, super processing and detail. A very relaxed looking tiger, I bet you enjoyed taking this image, bet you took more than one!!!
