Good use of a vehicle hide with that low angle - I imagine it was on a higher surface. Excellent head turn looking back at you. In a perfect world the heron would have stood on top of the dirt.

Interesting looking heron, which stands out nicely against that lovely background. Too bad about the feet but you get what they give you.
Could the head use another shot of selective sharpening, or does it just have very fine feathers?

Nice BG to go with the interesting bird... I would take a bit of the OOF foreground off.

Neat looking bird. Like the pose and the background. Nice and sharp with good details.

Nice photo. When I visited India these birds had me puzzled for a while, on the ground they look mostly brownish but in flight they are mostly white- very confusing!

A stunner. The foreground is less than ideal but the bird is mega. Techs perfect with a fine image design.

Nice HA from this heron and killer BG, Sanjeev. Super techs and well exposed, well framed, nicely processed too, love the colours

    Kind regards,
