From Little Estero Lagoon last month. Not much happening there on this visit, but I love these mid-sized plovers with their seemingly outsized bills that they use to probe for Fiddler's Crabs and other crustaceans. This frame shows the lovely reddish brown nape of the male in breeding plumage.

Nice looking bird with good low angle and clean BG. Details look good and so are the techs.

Pretty sweet image here Bill! Good profile pose, and I love all the vegetation adding colour throughout the frame. I imagine you had to lighten the belly a bit?

Bird looks really nice. It would be a tough crop and I know std. 16X9, but it seems
    a bit cramped on top.

Nice to see the bird against all that sea purslane. Nice pose. I think the crop looks fine as presented.

Great POV and that vegetation really adds a lot to this image.
I like the little bug on the RHS of the frame.
