Captured image in a local preserve last week. These beauties arrive each spring and are quite easy to spot, or should I say hear because they sing frequently. C&C welcome.

The bird itself is great, I might consider doing a little eye work though, and the branches top left could really do with cloning out as the green blur conflicts with the branch - the other green spots don't bother me as much
I'm fine with the branches (except for the teeny tiny bit poking up from below at bottom edge) as the y balance the frame IMO. I agree with eye work, or processing a similar frame with a clear eye, as it appears that the nictitating membrane is half closed here. Good details, nice BG.
I always hate commenting late on an image as I often have little to add to previous comments.
Pity the nictitating membrane is partially covering the eye and I would fix that.
Agree about the little branch coming up from the bottom of the frame.
I am OK with the branches in LUC.

Thanks everyone. I too don't mind the branches LUC, and do agree with removing the branch at base of frame. Of course the frames proceeding and following, some without the nictitating membrane, don't have as nice a pose. Maybe some eye doctoring.
