I was attempting to get a mid-air squabble between 2 swallows, I didn't get one I liked but I did like this one, environment and all.

    Thanks for looking.

    Tim:

Pretty amazing that you were able to obtain and hold focus on this fellow! Its hard enough against a clear sky, let alone a busy background like this! Strong work.

I like the downstroke pose, slight head turn, exposure.

I do find the background a bit distracting, but it certainly shows the environment you were working in.

    Cheers

Very well done Tim on getting focus.....Love the flight pose. I can see where Randy is coming from with the BG. I would try toning it down a bit...Hope you don't mind, I lowered the contrast on the BG to give you an idea of what I mean....Fab image.

The pose and stare are absolutely fantastic, Tim! The background is a bit distracting, but that's life. I might rotate the image slightly clockwise to get the wings level/symmetrical.

I do find it hard to get beyond that busy BG.
Swallow looks pretty good for an incoming bird! Just wish you had a better BG,
    Gail

Great job at getting this little speedy bird tack sharp. The background is what it is.
