As both Haseeb & Sanjeev know, the Forest guards are your eyes & ears whilst in the reserve, so as everyone left for the morning we stopped by the Forest rangers location for fresh intel. As we did and it was safe to do so, I took the opportunity to spend a few moments with the Gray/indian Langurs that frequented the location, playing in the trees, or just sitting watching us, or grooming.

Hi Steve, a wonderful portrait of the Langur! Love the DOF, the details and pensive look. The BG is sweet! They are some characters and always up to something, watchful & alert.
Love the reflective pose from this old chap. Yet the first thought that came to mind when I opened this thumbnail was: " what fine detail ! ".
A simple but such effective portrait, thoughtfully composed, with beautiful colours and a stunning background - just beautiful
