Pepe this one is killer. I know how hard you have worked on the flash set-up and I am glad that you are having so many good results. This one is my favourite for sure. The "frozen" pose is too good to be true and I love the shape of the right outermost tail feather because adds a lot of action to the image. My only critic is that the image looks flat due to the lack of shadows but that is how this technic works. The exposure is nailed. Please, keep posting more of this series

Have to get used to seeing these guys with a macro lens !!! Totally different perspective and I love it !!! Do you have any flashes lighting from the top side?

Great pose and nice BG, I would put the bird a little bit lower in the frame.

One flash lighting fom the down 1/32 - distnce 60 cm
    Two flashes in front - 1/16 - distance 1 m.

Can't imagine shooting with a Macro lens. The tail feather twist is very nice.

Love the tail and the direct eye contact. It will be so interesting to hear how you accomplished this :)
