    I made this image in Red Butte Garden, UT yesterday.




    Nikon D850, 300 f/4 + 1.4x TCIII
    1/1000 sec; f/5.6; ISO 2000
    Manual; Matrix metering
    Flash On


    Post Processing:-
    Cloned out flower petal on the right edge
    Raw Processing using C1P
    Neat Image for NR
    Nik Color Effect Pro 30-30 Filter
    Sharpening for Presentation.

    Nice vertical comp. Like the color through out this one. Espcially the purple in the background. This might be some type of anemone. I'm not sure though. Kinda of looks like one.

    I would not have guessed you used flash Kristna, very nicely controlled. I like the image as presented but am little concerned about the blue flowers on the right. Some one once said to me, (sic) " imagine you painted that image, now would you have put the blue flowers in?" So I try to bare mind that question now when composing static images. I imagine some folk would complain that the petals are dirty, well they are but that's nature. This rather flies in the face of my previous comment but I suppose it is food for thought, hope this helps.
