Bluebird captured during my trip to Yellowstone in the spring (if you could call it that). Snowed most of the trip. This image was made during wet snow/rain.
D300, 80-400vr, f5.6, 1/80, iso800. I believe I had the Tamron SP1.4 tc (does not report with this lens) on for this image.
    Comments and critiques always appreciated.
    Thanks for looking,
    Todd

Very beautiful bird, Todd. It would have been great if he turned the head a little more towards you. Nice and sharp. The BG could use some noise reduction.

Nice Mountain Bluebird (?) and great perch. Bit too much room at the top I think. There a "processed" look to the image, maybe caused by oversharpening?

Real nice image Todd Agree on the sharpening and would back down density on the blue channel for some added texture. Also wish for a different perch but do like it a lot as presented Excellent feel !!!

Great find, nice setting and BG. It looks as if the TC caused the problems, John mentioned. Maybe you could try a different sharpening technique.

Very beautiful image to look at and all of the above pretty much says it all. Congratulations on this very pretty capture Todd.
