    I made this image during my San Diego Trip couple of years back.


    Nikon D500, 500 f/4 + 1.7x TCIII
    1/3200 sec; f/6.7; ISO 1000
    Manual; Matrix metering

    Post Processing:-
    Removed spots on water
    Raw Processing using C1P
    Neat Image for NR
    Detail Extractor 30-30 Filter
    Raised brightness of blues a little.

    No Cropping
    Sharpening for Presentation.

    Good shooting angle to generate a good reflection. The slight ripple unfortunately did distort the head some.

    Nice display of the wide range of colors this species has.

    The detail extractor has a tendency to lighten colors a bit, so that they look slightly washed out. Although he is obviously very colorful, it would be interesting to see a version with less detail extraction.

    Very nice indeed, I like the still water and the wake in front, the detail on the bill looks pretty good, highlights and darks well controlled - well done.

    Nice frame if this woodie. Really like the color on this guy. Like the reflection as well.
