Another image to add to the previous great Tigers posted.

Another shot of this young Tigress. Nice light creating some lovely warm, saturated colours. I still need to find here T name and if Krishna was her mother.

Thanks to those who posted or viewed on the last posting.

Hi Steve, nice spotlight-like effect of the yawning tigress. The light is sweet and the comp works with good details. TFS. The fine detail on tongue and light make up for the lack of eye contact. Wish the head was angled a bit more towards us.

    Thanks Sanjeev

What do you do when you yawn, close your eyes.

I feel if she turned more towards 'us' I think all you would have was a mouth and the DoF would certainly runout, as the FP would have hit the back of the throat.

    Dear Steve,

I am becoming really jealous of your tigers, and Sanjeev's... and Hasseb's too And to a great extent, of your PP work

Regarding subject, everyone will agree, there's a certain power and a strength he exudes despite its relaxed state and closed eyes. But as much as I love the pose to me this is all about presentation, composition and colour. As well as the way in which you managed to emphasise the tiger's face and incredible canines.

Techs look good, well exposed with great detail (I can even see the little papillae on its tongue), well composed, beautifully presented. I like it as is, you make PP work seem so easy and effortless...

    Warmest regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

HI Steve -- Loved the details , that is one important aspect of your images.

Nice spotlight effect, details and colours makes the image. Did you used vignetting ? or burn tool to enhance the darks ? or was it underexposed on the field it self ?

    Nice one.

    TFS !

I there has been some very thoughtful processing here and it paid off. I think it is really appealing, I like the fly by her nose!
