    Good view of this heron, very nice image. Your light looks strong, but from a good direction with the angle of the heron, maybe tone down the front leg a bit? Great hunting pose, great background.

    Like the pose and the low angle. Some more room below wouldn't hurt. Nice and sharp.

    Hi Colin, Definitely on the hunt and locked on focus! Bit full in the frame, like your POV, and sharpness. The colors look a bit washed but i am comparing somewhat to our Green Heron... Colors look richer on the chest area when compared to the remaining bird and that is my reasoning...? Good frame, TFS

    I like the tight comp...Hard to comment on color, they are a bit different than ours in the states.

    Although the head angle is not "proper", I do like how concentrated it is on whatever it is looking at. A bit tight on the comp, and I do feel the contrast is a bit strong here IMO. I like the ground it is standing on - nice colours and patterns.
